About DC Young Gen

The DC Young Generation in Nuclear Local Chapter was formed with the goal of bringing together local young nuclear professionals to foster professional development and social interaction. Our members have diverse professional backgrounds ranging from public policy to radiation health physics.

Members meet monthly and participate in numerous outreach programs and events to generate excitement and interest in nuclear science and technology. One of the main focuses of our group is to provide the public at large with accurate and up-to-date information regarding our industry.

Social activities and gatherings are one of many things that make the DC Young Gen group worthwhile. Be it Happy Hour at a local club to Kayak trips, we make sure to offer our members a plethora of activities.
